The electors of Fellgate have the power and responsibility to elect the mayor of the city - and possibly to revoke his mayoralty. The electors are powerful factions within the town rather than individuals. The electors comprise:

The Yeomanry of Fellgate is the appellation given to the men-at-arms in the town, excluding the guildsmen under arms whom the Worshipful Companies are required to provide for the town's defence. Strictly speaking all common-born citizens are members of the Yeomanry and required to take up arms when called upon. In practice the Yeomanry vote is exercised by the senior command of the Castle Guard.
